Letter from Secretary General
Dear Delegates and Distinguished Guests, As the Secretary-General, it is my immense pleasure to welcome you all to the Erasmus Model United Nations project meeting that will be hosted at Politécnico Jesús Marín. We are determined to create an atmosphere that is both professional and beginner-friendly where each and every delegate will have the opportunity to speak, participate and learn in a rigorous and supportive environment. In this way, participants of five significant countries, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lithuania, and Turkey, will develop an enormous cultural interaction. We are dedicated to the personal, academic, and professional growth of each conference participant, and strive to ensure that all delegates will develop skills that are central to the world of Model United Nations. Hopefully, that kind of environment will remain during both the MUN discussions, debates and in the time dedicated for activities outside the MUN sessions. This year, as decided by the SPECPOL (special, political and decolonization committee) the three main issues that will be discussed in this committee will be; Industry Politics for Globalization Era, Using Resources Effectively in EU and Colonization in Space. Also, chairs will add some subtitles like; economy based on information and innovation, operations for maintaining peace, collaboration in space investigations, human beings in digital era. In today's world, so interdependent, globalized and in which new technologies play an increasingly important role, but already essential, it is essential to find a common path on which we travel together and safely. With that being said, I am looking forward to seeing you all in my home country in Málaga/Spain for the participation in our project that will be held from March 24 to 28, and I am excited to embark on this unique journey with you. If I can assist you with any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. Sincerely, Secretary-General Anthony Quiñones A.
